I was so excited to receive the new Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques 2020 Advent Box in the mail last week -- honestly, I think it was the most fun I’ve had opening a package in a good while! I’m a Lauren Brooke affiliate, which means that I periodically receive products to share on Instagram, but I’m under no obligation to post about them here on the blog. No one at Lauren Brooke HQ has any idea that I’m writing this blog post, but, as soon as I received the Advent Box, I knew I had to share it ASAP, and also that I didn’t want to be limited to just the constraints of an Instagram caption.

The 2020 Advent Box ($45.00 USD) contains a mix of core Lauren Brooke products, new launches, and seasonal limited edition products, scents, and colours. It has a total retail value of $145 and is nicely curated to include products that would work for just about anyone -- from the green beauty newbie to the seasoned connoisseur. And, the number of new and limited editions picks means that it would be mostly new goodies for an established Lauren Brooke shopper too!

The box has a good mix of makeup and skincare, and the makeup items are fairly universal shades that I think would suit most skin tones. Almost everything is a mini/travel size, but they’re generously sized minis, large enough to give you a good feel for each product, so I do think the value, price-wise, is there as well.
The Advent Box came beautifully packaged (ready to gift!), and makes for a wonderful unboxing experience, whether your recipient chooses to open one box per day, or all 12 at once, like I did. The box includes a card with descriptions of each product, and full ingredients for everything can be found on the Lauren Brooke website. Some products were switched around in number in my box from the order that they appear on the included card, but, honestly, I thought the mystery just added another level of fun to the whole advent experience.
The Bottom Line
I loved it! A really well executed box in all ways -- beautiful packaging, a great assortment of products, and excellent value for money. All in all, I think the Advent Box would make a lovely holiday treat, either for yourself or a lucky someone else.
